We at EcoFrog see our customers as our main influencers. This is why we don’t advertise. Instead we allocate those funds to providing the best information and technical and commercial assistance for any concerns around the purchase of our equipment and to solving any incidents arising after installation.

With this in mind, we have prepared a section containing three parts: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS to solve all your doubts; SUGGESTIONS to provide solutions to possible incidents; and MANUALS DOWNLOAD so you have all the technical information, certifications, and laboratory tests at your fingertips. You may also use our CONTACT form to communicate with our technical department.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. In combination with Wash, Avatar works with all brands of industrial washing machines and dishwashers.
At the domestic level, Avatar works only with washing machines, but also comes with a tap for ozonated water to clean and disinfect the rest of the house, wash floors, windows, bathrooms, etc.
Yes, though it is advisable to hang it on the wall to avoid water accumulating in the machine’s internal circuit.
The ideal water temperature to achieve optimum performance is 30°C. However, studies carried out in our laboratories indicate that the ozone remains stable up to 50°C.
Ozonated water is not intended for consumption, but ingestion causes no intoxication.
For alerts and malfunctions, please consult the TROUBLESHOOTING section of your User Manual. If, after consulting the manual, you still can’t identify the alert or fault, please contact your dealer.
When Avatar stops working and moisture is detected inside, the particle dryer is activated and will run for 4 hours, making a quiet but noticeable sound. It is recommended not to switch Avatar on during this process. If it needs to be used, however, the machine won’t be damaged, though the concentration of ozone in the water will probably be lower.
Avatar’s ozone generator has a useful life of about 2,500 hours, equivalent to 900,000 liters of water.
For 4 hours in closed containers (e.g. spray can or washing machine drum) and 1 hour in open containers (e.g. floor cleaning buckets).
Avatar requires no maintenance.

Troubleshooting

There is a problem with the power supply or hose. Be sure to check the cables for a secure connection and make sure the hose is connected correctly at the INLET and OUTLET, and that the water inlet is open. If a problem is detected and the alert or malfunction is not correctly identified after consulting the manual, please contact your dealer.
O3 signal. The oxidation module has failed. Unplug the equipment for 3 minutes and plug it in again. If, on restarting, the light is blue, it means the equipment is working properly; if the light is flashing red, please contact your distributor to replace the equipment.
Check Avatar is working in 100% mode. Check there is no obstruction between Avatar and the washing machine inlet. Check the water inlet pressure is at least 2.75 bar. Reverse the hoses: connect the water inlet to the OUTLET socket and the outlet to the INLET socket to remove any possible obstruction that may have been introduced into the system. If the problem persists, please contact your dealer.
The washing machine may accumulate up to 1 kilo of soap or fabric softener residues in the pipes. During the first few washes with Avatar, it is normal to see suds, this means that the washing machine is cleaning itself. There may also be soap residue on the washed clothes themselves and it may take several washes with Avatar to remove the detergent residue from the fabrics.
Poor quality water as well as corroded, old, or high-iron-content pipes may cause this problem. Make sure you are using Avatar with the correct water, or add a tiny amount of bleach to your wash. The bleach will help to brighten but will be dissolved by the ozonated water at the end of the wash cycle.
